Bryce Resources

There are literally hundreds of Bryce tutorials on the web. Most of them were created by gifted amateurs and some are the result of professional work. Either way, the makers of these tutorials have lots of experience with Bryce and despite the questionable quality of some of the design work, the level of advice, tips and tricks on offer is amazing. The tutorial links below have been chosen because they are particularly useful but represent just a small selection. They are rated in terms of usefulness. Almost anything worth finding was listed at Hinchu's Bryce Tutorial Database. Alas, this site no longer exists but I'm leaving the link in the hope that one day it may return. If any Brycers out there can tell me what happend to the site I would be most grateful.

Book Recommendations

coverReal World Bryce by Susan Kitchens and Victor Gavenda. This is probably the easiest of book recommendations to make. Bryce books aren't exactly thick on the ground but this book is really excellent. In fact, for Bryce, this is the only book you need. It's written in a very friendly style, which makes it easily readable and it manages to make the sometimes inscrutible workings of the inner Bryce world very easy to understand. Real World Bryce is just short of 1,000 pages and covers every aspect of the software. It also comes with a CD ROM containing lots of example images. This book is a bit on the pricey side but it is worth every penny. It's available from Amazon.co.uk for £41.99.
