There is a wide choice of books that aim to help you learn how to use AutoCAD. Each of them is different and takes a different approach. If possible, have a look at a book before ordering it to make sure it is suitable for your level and matches your approach to learning. Ellen Finklestein's book is a relative newcommer, first appearing for Release 14. However, this is an excellent general purpose book. There is lots of help for beginners. The book contains lots of easily paced examples and is clearly written. However, the scope of the book is extensive, and it will provided a good reference long after you have learned the basics.
