Hello !
I made a 3D model and now i want to export my model into a bitmap. I know how to render in acad, but when i want to render to a file, and i select .bmp, the highest possible quality is 8-bits color.
Only if I choose for a .tga and .tiff file I can select a higher quality. Are there some plugins, or can sombody help me?
Greetings, Peter

Maybe a silly question but why .bmp format? Not the best format for a raster image.

Yes, for some reason AutoCAD only renders to BMP using 8 bit colour. I always render to TIFF since this gives the widest range of options including a useful alpha channel in 32 bit colour. My advice would be to render to TIFF and if you really want BMP (why?) then convert your TIFF file to BMP using Photoshop or whatever software you have.

whydont you use post script instead, and place it directly into photoshop, then export it out as a jpeg?
