email dwg will not open even when i have autocad at home why

ive emailed a dwg from work to home and all i can do is look at the attactment but not save or open the file,why

Have you got a dwg viewer on the PC youve sent it to?Ive sent a drawing a few times before by email and opened it and its just blank,dont know why.
