I have 2 dwg.'s in the same folder. One has a font that the other doesnt. How do I get that font into that dwg? I have tried copying it over but that didnt work, it only converted the text font to the one that I dont want since it didnt recognize it. I am running ACAD 2000i LT. :?:

Select the text, right click > properties. Retain the Text Style name. Go to Format > Text Style. In the Style Name pull down search for that name. Select it and you can read the used font. Open the other drawing and create a new style (or modify one of the existings) to use that font.

Thanks fuccaro for the reply, when I checked the properties on the text to see the font name it showed it to me, however when I did a list on the text it just told me that the font (in the dwg. I thought was good) was not found and it was being replaced with simplex, and I didnt recognize that, so it turns out that neither dwg. has the font I need, I just re-saved the font back onto my computer and checked my Support File Search Path to make sure it was looking for the font in the correct location and it is finding it correctly. I feel stupid for not noticing it sooner, Thanks again fuccaro

I glad you solved the problem, Matrix.
Sorry for I sent you before a low-level answer, I thought you are a beginner.
Have a nice day!
