Download and install this free pdf writer: http://www.cutepdf.com/ Once installed, it will show up in your plotter list.

Download the cutepdf writer (freeware), it's a free download and works well. The other ones are just trial versions that will stop working after a period of time.

Yes, 2007 does, but previous versions do not.

2007 comes with a bad excuse for a PDF driver....

Personally up until now I have been using PDF995 for PDF´s...it´s not bad for being free. Normally, I just do DwF files to send my drawings by E-mail to the company that does my plotting(for A2 or bigger).
I´m convinced that one day I´ll time to investigate these things.

I think dwf files look much better than pdf...when it comes to converting .dwg files. Adobe have this 3D Pdf program though, that makes pdfs with the right scale - but its not free.

there are a few programs on the net that do it, also installing acrobat 8 pro installs a convertor into autocad to. (with its own menu)

Dwf's are a much better alternative to pdf, but unfortunately, most companies don't have the dwf viewer and don't want to download and install it. I have given up on trying to convince our clients of the benefits of dwf. They are all just opposed to change of any kind and I got tired of being yelled at for making the suggestion. So, for now anyway, it's pdf's for everyone.

That was one of the big selling points on the company that prints my stuff. They have autocad and someone who knows how to print.
