Dimension line help

Can someone tell the setting to make the line under the text to always be a continuous line, sometimes the line breaks if I move the dimension text to close to the line.

You should create a dimension style so that you don’t need any more to move the text closer to the dimension line.
Enter DIMSTYLE from the keyboard (or start that command in any other way) and press MODIFY. Now press the TEXT tab and in the TEXT PLACEMENT area enter the desired OFFSET FROM DIM LINE. Save your settings and use this new created style; all your dimensions will look the in the same manner.
