Hello,
Here's my newest dilema. I put in a new display adaptor (128M G-Force4 which did have acad questions in the driver setup program) and now my ACAD2000 has a distorted screen display. Circles are displayed as tall narrow elipses, square grids show as tall rectangles, etc. I've tried looking in the help files, options menus etc, then I looked in this Forum. If the answer is there I am not looking it up correctly or something. Is there maybe some sort of 'display aspect ratio' or something? Other drawing programs seem to display correctly. Drawings both old and new seem to plot correctly. Any help would be appreciated! Thanx.

In the old days you could chage the aspect ratio. Not anymore.

config -> system -> display

Mine is set to GSHEDI10 A possibility at least. HTH -David

Do you have the latest drivers?

You might try adjusting the settings on the front of your monitor.

Tools>Options>System>3D graphics display>GSHEIDI10 is the only choice in that particular menu on my system. Thanx .
And yes I have updated the drivers, with no change. I do shrink the horizontal height as much as possible on the monitor (Compaq P110) when trying to draw, but that doesn't even go far enough to make the drawings appear correctly in cad, and distorts everything else to the point of being difficult. Thanx, but I'm still looking :?
