:? How do I configure my ScrolWheel to PAN when I push it down?
I have used this function for many years an cannot work without it.
I have upgraded my software and workstation, which is a blessing. Well.. except for the fact, that I cannot set the preferences in TOOL/OPTIONS/USER PREFERENCES or ny Logitec Setup to reestablish this the simplest of shortcuts. What am I doing wrong? Help!

MBUTTONPAN set to 1?
If so, and it still doesn't work, it's in your mouse driver.

I have tried updating the drivers on two different Logitec mouses, which both worked defore I upgraded my software from CAD2005.
So I hold on to the hope that I just need to tick something of in the preferences somewhere.

I just didn't use the logitech mouse software just used the mouse and now it's fine.

Thank you DODGE!! That was the answer.
Though beware.. future users of this fine solution, I had to restart a couple of times before even Windows opened. I had my doubts and cursed that I had not made a Recovery Point just prior to the uninstallation.
So I guess the Logitech programmers took some liberties deep into the root, when programming their drivers.

One thing to look for, is that the scroll wheel button is set correctly (ie: middle button) in the mouse software setup.
I know kensington's software loves to set it for some unique scrolling function, so I have to set it so that it is the middle click/button...
