I just bought a new computer and the transition went fine from old to new....But when it comes to plotting everything is really slow going, it takes at least a minute to bring up the plot window and another minute at least to show the plot preview, this was not the case with the old computer. I know this computer is much faster than the old one (new Dell Precision 390 - old Dell Latitude D800, laptop), does anyone know why this is or have a theory for this crap? Also I can't print to my network printer anymore..... not sure on this one, I'm not to good with setting up plotters. here is the error message I get when I try to plot. Any help would be appreciated

Did you install the Service Pack 1 for Autocad 2006 after you installed the program? http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/index?siteID=123112&id=2334435&linkID=2475161#section2 I believe it fixes the problem you are describing.

Hmmmmm . . . Your profile says 2006. Anyway, I would install the Service Pack for 2007, if you haven't already. It fixes a great many problems that came with that release.

OK here we go again...... Same problem but here is the thing, if I have my old laptop plugged into the network I have no problem printing from my new computer, if it's not than it gives me the error message in my first post. My laptop will be taken away soon and I need to figure this out before it goes away. No idea on this one @ all! Can anyone help?
