creating 3D solids by using points

how can we create a 3D SOLID by using the cordinates or points???
i am using a autocad 2006 but i think it is nearly the same in all versions...

Why? Because AutoCAD requires a closed polyline or a region to create a solid. Hey man, I don't make the rules...I just try to follow them.
