I was sent two macro scripts recently, with the object of turning on the perspective view and then the parallel view.
I made the respective buttons and entered the macros, but when I went to use them, neither worked.
Would one of you kind people in the know please cast your eye over the scripts and see if you can spot where they go wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Perspective on:
$M=$(if,$(and,$(eq,$(getvar,tilemode),0),$(eq,$(ge tvar,cvport),1)),'_3DXProjection,'_3DXProjection _S)

Parallel on:
$M=$(if,$(and,$(eq,$(getvar,tilemode),0),$(eq,$(ge tvar,cvport),1)),'_3DXProjection,'_3DXProjection _P)

What version of ACAD are you using? in 2000i, "3DXProjection" is not a command.

Oops! Should have mentioned I use AutoCAD2000.

It's not a command in 2000 either. Must be someone 3rd party app. -David

Bummer! OK, if that's the case, does anyone have a macro for Parallel and Perspective please?

Well, it's not really that hard to get to parallel or perspective. Either enter "3do" at the command line, or click the "3D Orbit" button, right-click the mouse, then in the right-click menu you will find projection, parallel or perspective.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I suppose it's not the end of the world to access the routine that way. I'm just a very button oriented worker.
