Hey guys I'm having some trouble with hatching with AutoCAD. I'm using AutoCAD version '07 and I noticed there are only a select few hatch patterns to choose from. I'm working on an important project for my company and I need some certain hatch patterns to complete this project. Is there a website or anything that I can go to, to get more hatch patterns? Thanks in advance...

You can try here:

http://www.cad-design-and-drafting-services.com/free-autocad-hatch-patterns.html

Or you can pay $29 and buy hatch patterns here:

www.hatchpatterns.com (http://www.hatchpatterns.com)

And lastly, you can go here and get 365 hatch patterns (excellant quality) for $75 (can be downloaded):

Hi,

You can always make your own.
Just type in "create custom hatch patterns AutoCAD" into any search engine and see what comes up.

Once you grasp how it works, its quite easy.

I created some myself for a friend who was a floor fitter. He wanted to be able to draw a room and calculate how many tiles he needed. I created several hatch patterns that represented different tile sizes. All he had to do was apply the hatch then count the tiles. Easy!

Hope this helps,
