I work at a custom cabinetry business. I draw with many different layers, some of which I want to print out lighter as a hidden line would and others darker than usual. I have some layers here for example. I use color 33 which is a brown and it prints out lighter. I want that color to print out as if it were white/black. If you guys can let me know how to do just that much I will figure out the rest. Thanks so much.

On the menu bar click File>Page Setup. Click the Plot Device tab. At Plot Style Table click the arrow to get a drop-down list of available styles. AIA(256) Scale 48.ctb gives a black & white printout with lineweights determined by color. Monochrome.ctb prints everything black, with lineweight and other properties determined by object. I made a new style based on Monochrome.ctb and modified it to make gray lines print gray.

You can edit the ctb file and assign line thicknesses to the different colors and set them to print as black.
