hi adesu,
find the folder that contains your other .pat files, and put your new .pat file there. you should also have a .sld file that probably came with your .pat file.
put that in the same folder, the .sld file is what gives you the preview swatch in the boundry hatch dialog box.
good luck!

Hi megamike !
Are you not wrong ?,as I know file with extention sld there isn't in cad only slb,Ok never mind,I only want continu quetion.
I got a file "acad-adesu.pat & acad-adesu.slb",it's was put in support folder, but if I open "Boundary Hatch" dialog box and click "quick tab" >type>select custom, then custom pattern>[...]>hatch pattern palette dialog box,in custom tab only display c:\auto cad 2000\support\acad-adesu.pat,if it I hit and display"Error in Pattern file".
Can you suggest to me?,thanks you

Search for "acad.pat" in your autocad support location and open with Notepad. Paste the new hatch patterns at the bottom of it. You don't have to worry about slide libraries because it will put the swatches automatically in "bhatch". Start "bhatch", click on the swatch, go to the "other predefined" tab, and the new patterns should be in there. You don't even have to exit and re-start ACAD for the changes to appear, just start the command.

Hi Flores !, you are right ,thanks a lot for your help, and now I can see a lot of hatch pattern in "bhatch",but in original file from notepad,it's not enough memory, then change with wordpad
