I am trying to create my own wall styles from scratch for the common walls used in my area. However there is some annoying problems with how they interact with each other and need some help to rid these problems.
1 - Single skin brickwork does not merge properly with double brick as seen in image 'wall 1'. The line the arrow is point to should not be there creating a clean merge of the 2 walls. See images 110 wall style and 270 wall style to see the components of the wall styles. Can anyone solve this? (I am metric and 110mm is single skin and 270mm is double skin)

2 - Another wall merge issue where the 270mm double skin merges properly with one skin but not the other when joining a 150mm brick wall. The arrow again points to the line that should not be there. The wall style image is for the 150mm brick and the 270mm brick is the same as in the first post.

3 - This door cleans up fine on one side but not the other. The arrow points to the correct side with a tick and a X for the incorrect side, I dont know why it doesnt work on both sides. The walls are the same 100mm brick as in the first post and the door style is in the image below.
Thanks for any help you can offer me.

It's been a little while since I dabbled in ADT but I think part of the problem is your setup of the two different wall types. Try putting a skin around the single wall and make sure your clean-up radius is at least 30mm for each wall type. I remember that another way around this is the longer process of selecting a wall and changing the clean-up radius in the properties menu.

Thanks for the reply, but I dont quite understand....if I put another skin around the single skin brick I will have double brick internally where I dont want it?
I dont quite follow?

Looking at the components of your single wall, it has only brick. I'm fairly certain it needs the ADT skin around to make it join correctly. I remember going through some serious trouble in ADT trying make my own walls and the skin was the root of my problems. Adding the skin to the single wall shouldn't double it. I'll see if I can dig up the exact method for that.

By Skin are you talking about the 'shrinkwrap'?

Yes. Your double wall has a skin component. I remember it being a necessary part of user built walls. ADT doesn't seem to know how to treat the object if it doesn't have that "skin " on it.

The problem lies with the position of the Graph line position, and the clean up radius of the single skin wall. Stretch this radius out so that it just covers the cavity wall. It should now clean up. Make sure that the graph line is on the inside of the cavity, i.e. next to the single skin wall, this will also aid clean up.
I would post a image, however, I am either too blind, stupid or what to see the answer!
If need be, pm me and I will send you the example.
