When I try to open (or import) a DWG-drawing (autocad) into RhinoI only see the drawing in the top view. (sometimes I manage to view some of the lines in the other views). It is impossible to extrude a surface in the drawingarea. But if I try to do that outside the drawingarea it works(!). So my main problems are: why is not all my lines viewable and why can't I extrude something in the drawingarea? I really hope that someone can help me....

Is it possible to post the Rhino file and/or the DWG file that had been imported.

Hi vildvittran...

Rhino 3 will only import from Autocad up to ver 2000 I beleive.
Maybe the AC files was saved as a more recent version and its not importing properly.
