I just stumbled across this unusual website this morning. It's called CAD 3D Browser (3D Club UK) by Shawn D. Smith. It's chock full of 3D models (500+) available in 28 different file formats (includes 3ds, dxf, dwg). Registration is required. Six plans are offered but only one is free. All the others cost something but prices vary. Categories include, but are not limited to, trucks, cars, planes, ships, furniture, architecture, animals, anatomy, guns and toys just to name a few.
