Hello there,

Im wanting to batch plot drawings to PDF Format. i have determined that i need Acrobat program, which should give me Acrobat Writer. I have one problem, i need to be able to use AO and A1 paper settings. but the writer i have dont give me these paper sizes. I dont really want to be scaling A1 drawings down to A4 PDF format. can anyone suggest a solution to where i can get a good printer driver or acrobat writer to give me good quality PDF. same scale and linetype settings etc.

Thanks

Welcome in our Forum Burnard!
I have a similar problem with the large drawings. I use PDF995 (free to download and even to use) and I must split the larger formats as A1.

hi there,
i also use pdf995 to create PDF documents of my CAD drawings ... i got to know this software from u Fuccaro ... but on my list of paper sizes i do have an ISO A0, so i can plot drawings that are larger than A1 ...
I have installed pdf995 and pdfEdit ...

Probable I used an older version. I downloaded again the program and now I also have the A0 format on the list. But... can you plot A0 landscape? On my computer I can set up the plot configuration but the final document is always portrait (speaking about A0). Do you have some experience to share with me (us) in this direction?

fuccaro, yes indeed the same thing happened to me sometimes ... it`s rather strange, i did manage to PDF some A0 landscape though (but there is not a coherent explanation) ...
It sometimes comes from how you setup the page ... but i do not have any examples ... i`ll look up
