Hello Dan, wow, I would have thought that WinMe would have sucked with SketchUp. I myself would not even think of using 95, 98 or Me with SU. With those OS's bad handling of memory and all. I have only used it on 2000 and now XP Home and mine got better with XP (yeah I did jump from a 1.1 GHz cpu to a 2.66 GHz.). Have you played with the hardware acceleration in the settings panel?

Might be worth a shot to try a few different settings. Good luck :)

Hi,

That is exact;y my point, ifit was fast in Me it should be fantastic with XP Pro, I'll have a fiddle with the settings.

Thanks for you help

What are your PC's specs? XP is a MEMORY HOG! I would not even think about using under 512 mb with an openGL application like SU. I used 256 in my new box for a few months but it was my home box and it was pretty sluggish. Dropped in another 512 to a total of 768 and it is pretty fluid now. Best of luck though. SU is one fantastic application :)
