yes, I want to add a few commands that I got realy familar with on my last version of AutoCAD, it seems that tracking has been replaced with temp tracking wihich does not suit my drawing style at all! I've put up with it for 18months! I want it back! :D

To modify the shift + right-click menu, go here:
http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=945
To modify the standard right-click (when nothing is selected), modify the ***POP501 section in the acad.mns file.
Here I will add "mpedit" from the express tools because I use it alot.
***POP501
**CMDEFAULT
[Context menu for default mode]
ID_CMNonLast [&Repeat %s]^C^C;
[--]
ID_mpedit [Mpedit]^C^C_Mpedit
ID_Cutclip [Cu&t]^C^C_cutclip
ID_Copyclip [&Copy]^C^C_copyclip
What I recommend doing is first closing ACAD, then modifying the "acad.mns" file because it will load up automatically whenever ACAD is restarted. If you modify the .mnu file, you will have to reload the menu inside ACAD.

I think :?: it will save in a PROFILE to make it easier to load automatically.

the only changes made for 2008 is that you have to include an extra space when bracketing :P

It now goes something like this.
Tools>Customize>Interface
Go to the Shortcut Menus.
Select the Menu to be modified.
From the Command List pane drag the command you want to the menu in the Customizations In pane.

if you're going to do that, I find it quicker in use to just create your own toolbar that sits within the drawing area - the scrolling down is a bit wrist achy too

I love the right-click shortcuts. To keep it from getting long, just remove the stuff you don't use.
