Hello!
I dont know how to describe this i want to split elipses into same size squares like on this picture i made in painter http://www.geocities.com/peromed/pero/elipse.JPG
I marked squares how it should look all around so please help me.
I have autocad release 14.0.

One way would be to use the "Divide" command with the "Block" option. Select an ellipse to divide, then array a rectangular block around the perimeter. see command line in image. The attached DXF shows the result in Autocad.

tnx your picture looks great (exactly what i wanna do) but when i try to do this it doesnt work. I make an ellipse then i write divide command and b just like you did but when it asks me enter name of block to insert and i write rec it says cannot find block REC.

What do i have to do?

Sorry, I should have a bit clearer on that point. You could find an example of the block used for the image in the attached DXF (EllipseTest.dxf in my first post) file or, probably more useful to you, create your own with the appropriate size. The block can be named anything you like. Use that new name in place of "rec".
