All i was doing was renumbering details, and change a text style! :?

What a way to start the day!

Everytime you open a drawing then close it, it keeps a piece of the file in the active memory. Since it sounds like you are opening 50 files at a time try opening 10 at a time. You should probably restart your computer every 3 hours if you are going to open alot of drawings at a time like that. Just my sugestion.

Yeah i had a talk with my CAD Designer, he didn't seem to worried, so i just did a restart! He's not the smartest of lad's but he's good people!
I only open 3 drawings at a time! Maybe i need to rethink how our detail sheets are composed!

Our details are fine and if you don't like it then you can think of a better way. Now get back to work! I knew showing you this forum would bite me in the arse......:glare:

i was on lunch! Your one to talk, thats all i ever see on your screen!! hahah now u get back to work! And yes your getting stuff done so dont even comment on that!

I just think the way its setup with all the details in one xref, then xrefing the drawing again takes up to much time and space, but ill keep thinking!

The only reason we are doing it that was is because I am lazy and dont want to open 12 detail sheets then open 1 or 2 details that need to change. Now we can open that one sheet and open all the details that need fixing. Seems to keep my memory sharing low and I have the older computer. This thread is now closed....

I started repling to the post on how to fix it before I realized it was from my office. Thought it was funny someone had the same problem I use to have. Oh well live and learn.
