does anyone know where i can get infomation on basic surveying applications using CAD. I am writing a dissertation and need information on
angle and distance calculation
coordinate calculation
areas and volume
creation of setting out information data sheets

You would need to contact a company like Disto or try something like

I believe you can export data directly to AutoCAD.
