Hi
When using a tiled hatch to create a reflected ceiling plan is there any way to set a central point in a room and have the hatch pattern centre on that point then radiate outwards?
Thanks

it depends if the hatch pattern is setup that way...if it is you can set the basepoint that the hatch pattern with use as it's 0,0 point...
now i'm not sure about 2005 but in 2006 there is a "hatch origin" area in the hatch dialogue box...and within that there's an option for specify origin...default to boundary extent and you can choose "center" in the dropdown...
if 2005 doen's have that option you'll have to do it the long way first finding the centre of the area (draw a few lines and use and endpoint to mark it) then you can use the snapbase command and pick that point...then when you invoke the hatch command it will use that point as the origin...
