3D to 2d elevation?

is there any possible way on how could i do 3D object 3DSmax file to 2D elevation in autocad file? if there a way could you teach in step by step.

Is this for an architectural or mechanical object? Is there a reason that you couldn't just line up the UCS for a front view and use that?

This is for architectural object, m doing my 3d in 3D studio max, and m working on my working drawing and i want to make my elevation out of it so that i will not redraw it again.

Can you not just create a drawing in ACAD with the 3DS file and create the elevations from a UCS view?
