HELP WITH NEW 3D Studio Max User version 5

I have a drawing of an automobile done in AutoCad 2002 inventor, I need help editing the meshed surfaces i made the body out of PLEASE LET ME KNOW OF ANY HELPFUL TUTORIALS

Select the item (model)

Right-click and select Convert to editable Mesh

Then select Vertex on the Selection panel

Now you should be able to select and edit the vertexs on your mesh. I hope this is what you needed :) If not look at www.3dcafe.com , they have a bunch of 3D Max tutorials :)
