I have encountered a problem when opening files that were saved in 2002 format. We have been using the same dimstyle for years but when opening these older files with 2007 the dimstyle seems to have some sort of glitch. the dimensions that already exist are fine, however, when attempting to place a new dimension the style settings change, of coarse you can go and re-apply the settings and they work fine and you can still match properties to an existing dimension with the right properties but I was hoping there was a way to correct this, is there a patch out there or something?
Just to clarify, the existing dimension style is the one set to current(the same as the ones in the drawing intself) and is also the name of the one that doesn't come out correctly.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Possibly you have overrides set that you didn't know about. Try making another dimension style current. Then go back and make the first one current, that should erase all overrides, and if it doesn't fix the problem, then I'm guessing overrides isn't the issue....
Let me know if this helps....

nah, thats not out in left field could tell someone something about my problem. but no I hadn't, i just tested it though and had no problems. I also just noticed that I only encounter this problem in drawings with existing dimensions from drawings that had been saved down to 2000 format.
