Hello I just got the new AutoCad Architecture 2008 yesterday and I have a couple of questions. I would say that I am not an expert in Cad but not a beginner. I am wondering if anyone out there could share some tips on setting up workspaces to get the most out of them. I don't really know what the best set up is, but I am wondering what other people think. Also what would I need to know or do before I can say I am fluent in AutoCad. Any thing would help. Thanks

Fluent in AutoCAD? For starters, a better than average knowledge of all drawing and editting commands and the use of grips. Next comes text (multiline text and tables) and dimensioning followed by printing/plotting. Definitely a must: know the difference between model and paper space and where objects go versus titleblock/border and text. Then its on to the best stuff. Examples include 3D modeling, programming (LISP & VBA), customization, layouts, sheet sets, etc.).
That's probably just the tip of the iceberg.
