At work we have a particular font style, I wanted to copy the style for use on my own machine for situactions where I take my work home with me, but I can't find where to get the file from or where to find it's exact name? Any ideas, by the way we use 2004 at work.

Look in: Program Files/AutoCAD 2004/Fonts.

In Autocad, open your Text Style Manager, you should be able to just type STYLE at the command line to open the dialog. Select a text style name from the 'Style Name' list box and then look at the 'Font Name' list box to find out what the actual Font name is.
