Image not legible....please help!!

Ok well heres my situation....I got a pdf with 3 pages that a saved into .tiff files and I inserted them into my drawing. When I plot that sheet out the .tiff files are not legible at all.

Is theyre anything I can do? We need to submit these plans tomorrow for plan check so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are the tiffs text or images? Did you bring them in at 1:1 scale?

they're text....and ive inserted them so they match my text height of 1"

they whole sheet is 1"=1'-0"

is they're something I can do to them in Photoshop?

Open the pdf in photoshop, when the "Import PDF" dialog opens, make sure to set the resolution to 300 pixels/inch. Once the PDF opens up, SaveAs tif format. Now when you insert the image into Autocad, your text should be legible.

ok so that worked....but its still kinda blurry...

would raising the pixels/inch to maybe 500 or more.

You can set the resolution higher in photoshop to get a crisper image, but just remember that the higher you go with the resolution, the larger the file size becomes.

Since it's text, is there a reason you can't just put the text into ACAD? It seems like it would be the easier solution.

^^ true but its a pdf file of a Research Report from the city of L.A.
so it cant just be copied pasted text, cuz it has the city logo and all
