otrack no longer tracking

ok this is a silly one, yesterday all mu osnap and otrack settings worked fine, i could hover over a osnap point and get the tracking lines to use otrack, but today nothing i hover over my osnap point nothing happens no little cross appears in the osnappoint and No otrack lines, what could have changed, i personally haven;t changed any settings or variables what is the otrack, i have checked that otrack is switch on and has settings. #

Perhaps you inadvertently turned this feature off using temporary override keys?

i have solved the problem now, it seem somehow the alignment point acquisition had been changed from automatic, to shift to acquire,
