Hi all

Much of my work consists of submitting planning applications which usually mean uploading CAD dwgs, photographs and supporting statements (Word/Excel) via the Planning Portal (UK).

At the mo, I convert documents/drawings to PDF either thru Adobe or CutePDF - For CAD Drawings I generally use CutePDF cos Adobe freezes on me -but Cute only produces one drawing per layout. All Word documents I convert with Adobe, and photos I leave as jpgs, or whatever. But this means I upload each file separately.

So I wonder if there is a way to combine everything into one file with Acrobat Pro ... so I can upload/print everything (various sizes) in one go?

Regards, Jennii

Adobe Acrobat can combine multiple drawings in one PDF file. Also existing PDF files can be combined in one document.

Thanks Fuccaro

I have previously used Acrobat to make one PDF of several layouts.. but this is very 'hit and miss' - seems Autocad doesn't like adobe -which is why I now use Cute. (Restrictive.. but quicker than having Adobe 'die' on me after 5 minutes).

I didn't know you could combine any PDFs (regardless of their source) into one document. In itself, this will be very useful, so thanks for that. I will explore this more over the weekend.
