You want to draw in metric units? Is that the question?

First piece of advice. Draw everything in model space at 1:1 scale.

Autocad doesn't care if you're drawing in inches, feet, milimeters, kilometers or whatever. Just open your UNITS dialog and set the 'Length Type' to Decimal and your 'Insertion Scale' to Milimeters and start drawing at 1:1, as ReMark suggested. If you want to apply dimensions to what you've drawn, you will have to create or modify a Dimstyle to display mm.

i'm finding it hard to understand the spelling... but you can change the UNITS, like suggested above. :dunno: if that's what you are looking for.
