I am looking to buy a new plotter for the company, I am looking for recommendations on which plotter to buy. We have a DesignJet 500 right now and it has done well for us....But it is a little slow for the amount of drawings we produce. We plot 90% line drawings, 8% pdf's and 2% rendered drawings. We need something of a work horse plotter that isn't really expensive. Any help here would be appreciated, thanks.

If you have been happy with the DJ 500 and the majority of your prints are linework, I would seriously consider the DJ 1000 line. It is considerably faster than the 500 and designed for a larger workgroup.
As a side note, I was seriously impressed with the Xerox 6204 we demoed, but it is significantly more expensive and I am more of HP guy myself.

Well, you could try the old fashioned way and give them a phone call. Just ask to speak to someone in sales. That should get you a response real quick. :D
