Printer/Plotter

I am looking for a good printer for 11 x 17 paper. Any suggestions comments or recomendations.

13 x 19 is an odd size. I bet you could buy a decent 36" roll plotter as cheap as odd size machine. And much more versitale. -David

I have used a Hewlett Packard Deskjet 1220C for a couple of years now for printing on 11" x 17" B-size sheets, but it prints on 13" x 17". It isn't very fast if you prefer printing in color, but it's great for all-black plots. I paid $400 about 2 years ago for it. I'm not sure if they still sell it, or if they have a new printer out.

We just got an HP CP 1700. First plots look good. I think it was a few hundred dollars.
