A question about the Autocad to Photoshop tutorial

Hello,

I was working through the tutorial that describes how to plot to an EPS file and caught a snag.

Everything went fine up to the point where I tried to open the EPS file in photoshop and it told me that photoshop does not recognize this file type.

Can anyone help?

Maybe IMPORT rather than open ?

There a few types of EPS file.

which version of Photoshop are you using? Versions prior to 6 don't fully support EPS Level 2. If in doubt, always use Level 1.

It is OPEN and not IMPORT.
