Hi all,
I need to import a .DWG file into Revit, but was wondering how Revit deals with these files. Thing is, once the DWG has been imported, surely it's impossible for Revit to know what are walls, partitions, doors etc.? How well can it possibly work?
The basic idea is, that two of us are working on a project, only myself can use Revit (only just!) so the plan would be to base it on Revit, but in case I'm off, ill etc. allow it to be in AutoCAD for me collegue to continue. The we'd need to import it back into Revit. Is this feasible? It just seems like a really complex operation for the two programmes to perform.
We're currently running AutoCAD LT 2006 and Revit 6.1
Thanks in advance,
Emma
