Morning / Afternoon / Evening (whereever you are in the world)
I've got a couple of questions regarding AutoCAD (2004).
Is there anyway i can repeat an action? Can i hold down CTRL or something like that so that once ive drawn a line, i can draw another line somewhere else without having to click the line tool? As this takes up some time...
Also, is there anyway i can speed up my AutoCAD or is that a problem with my computer? Would more RAM notch it up a bit?
All help greatly appreciated!

hitting the enter key twice reactivates the last active command, also, in your options you can configure you right mouse button to repeat the last command with a single click.

more ram will definitely speed it up, but we don't know what type of system and software you are running. Also in the options under the display tab, you can minimize all of the CAD high end components such as rendering, display... etc... minimize these options and your machine will definitely speed up.
Hope this helps some...

Hi Qwest,
tlyall is right about hitting enter to repeat the last command. Did you know that the spacebar acts like the enter key...
I tend to sit at my workstation with my right hand on the mouse and my left hand resting on the side of the keyboard with my thumb ready to hit the spacebar when required. This also means that my index finger is near the Esc Key

May have already been stated but you can set your right click to repeat commands.
That is in tools->options.

From the AutoCAD help:
Command line: multiple
Enter command name to repeat:
AutoCADrepeats the command you enter until you press ESC. Because MULTIPLE repeats only the command name, any parameters must be specified each time.
MULTIPLE does not repeat commands that display dialog boxes.
So to answer to your question about lines:
Command: MULTIPLE
Enter command name to repeat: L
LINE Specify first point:
