Problem with Civil 3D 2008

If any body can help it would be greatly appreciated.

We have installed Civil 3D 2008 currently running 2007 also on the same box.

The cursor movement in 2008 is horrible ok in 2007 it just moves slow across the screen almost un-workable. The only thing we have managed to figure out is that there is a conflict with our Novell network running, without any networking works perfect.

Has any body else had the same problem ?

We can not turn off network around 1500pc's in our company.

Could you provide information on your network and system etc?

What information do you require the network system info can be very extensive ?

It would appear this is a common problem. I found a similar problem on the autodesk discussion forum. The members there provided some good suggestions to start with, although it doesn't appear to be resolved. It might work for you though. We are one of the people on that Autodesk thread so we are trying here to also to find an answer.

The problem must be getting bigger with more 2008's out there now.
