this is the messgae that returns after an audit:

AcDbBlockReference(4BCD) scale invalid uniform

there are many of these 686 to be precise it goes on to say number of errors fixed 0.

Can anybody help as to the reason why this is happening? I have a good idea and that is that the drawings have been converted to autocad from adt and i know when it comes to issuing these drawings these errors are going to be my downfall.

p.s

i dont want to comment on why and who flattend these drawings!

Try "AECOBJEXPLODE".

Does this rectify the problem?sorry i have had a few distructive things done to my drawing and i am just a bit cautious beofre trying things i just need to know what it does.

the problem has arisen form an exploded ADT drawing that has been made autocad compatible...

thanks for your help

It sounds like the conversion wasn't done properly. AECOBJEXPLODE will explode AEC objects to primitive graphics and erase AEC objects from the file. In the dialog box I check "Explode AEC Objects To Primitive Graphics", "All Layouts", "Maintain Resolved Layer,...", and Erase AEC Objects.

If you are ever unsure about trying something new, you can always save the file as something other than your working drawing and do a test run to see if you get the desired results before changing your working drawing.

I hope this helps.

If the XREF's are ADT drawings then you should do an AECOBJEXPLODE on all of them.

When I am "cleaning up" drawings for use in our backgrounds, I take all of the files and remove any XREF's and clean them up separately. When I am done, I rebuild the base file from scratch using the cleaned up files.

Let me know if this eliminates the error. If not, maybe you can post the drawing(s) in question and I'll take a look at them.
