I am looking to go on a cad course to get a few more skills and another bit of paper,

My company is paying for it, so although i could probably learn most of the stuff on here, i am obviously better getting a qualification out of it.

I have already done an 11 week course when i started my first cad job, i have been working with it now for about 3-4 years, just doing the basics, so i wanna get a bit more advanced now.

anyone reccomend any courses in central scotland?

How does this one sound?

Looks good, but are they an 'Autodesk Authorised Trainer', don't think so.
I, through my Education Authority, attended a two day 3D course with Colin Meagre from www.glenco.org.uk (glenrothes college) he is a GURU. He can do anything in AutoCAD. I recommend him and glenco. He does training for Astra Zeneca at grangemouth and other large Multi-nationals.

Falkirk college do good courses.

But what are you expecting to draw (models) at your work once you have completed the course ?

not really much call for modelling, just want to get another qualification under my belt, especially seeing as someone else is paying for it,

My boss said he would like to try and incorporate some 3d work if i could do it.

Ill falkirk college a look up, and glenrothes, but will have to see how far it is.

sorry mate, cant get the link to work :(

I looked up glenrothes college, and cant see any listings for cad courses.

Its not so much 3d as just a bit more advanced,

looked up falkirk college, and its only a basic cad course they run, ive already done one of these.

Thanks anyway,

any other suggestions/comments guys

Found the site mr T: http://www.glenco.org/courses/ict/cad/cadandcadlt.htm

I was looking at their 2day 3d course, looks quite intresting, but it doesnt say anything about ho much it cost,

If you dont mind can you tell me how much it was for yours, as i have to get things sorted out quickly with my ompany

Thanks
