The idea behind the AutoLISP Archive is to provide quick and easy access to routines posted on the forums. As such, users (and moderators) will not be able to post in this forum. If you want to post your own routines, you should post them in the AutoLISP & Customisation forum or in response to a user request. Once that topic has run its course and a final version of a routine is posted, I will repost it in the archive with helpful comments etc. and maintain a standard format for each entry. This way, we provide a nice clean and easy way of accessing LISP routines :)

It is one of the most commonly asked questions on the forum, so it's worth doing properly. I may follow up with some additional tutorials such as how to autoload at startup etc.

In any case, we now have a post to link to next time someone asks the question. :D

:) I'm sure I'll manage!I briefly looked at the new LISP forum while I was signed in for a short while, didnt get time to read the tutorial. But I often find that I would like to find a lisp routine that was mentioned before in the forum and cant find them.

Does anyone have any personal favourites that you'd like to see in the Archive. There are lots available on the board (mostly thanks to fuccaro), I'd like to get a list of priorities. The twist routine should be up there - any others that I may have forgotten?

Maybe you should include a link to the original post. Before someone decides to download and use a routine she/he could read comments from people who used it before.

That's an excellent idea - I'm on to it!

That's a good idea - I will add the m2s routine. I believe that it is free to distribute - unless anyone is aware of copyright issues.

Any other suggestions or donations welcome.
