Hello all,

I'm having an issue with a file im working on and i was hoping someone might be able to shed some light as to whats gone wrong. Below is a model done in autocad 2004. As you can see the materials are not rendering out properly. I'm using photo raytrace and to get this view i used 3d orbit with perspective turned on. I've also tried using dview and received the same results. However, I dont have the problem when i render using any of the standard views. I've had similar experiences with autocad 2k but none this severe and i could usually work around it. I'm hoping that its an easy fix and i've just overlooked something but im really not sure what else to try. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

My guess is that the material has a bitmap image and that it hasn't been mapped on to the faces in the proper direction.

ACAD command: setuv

( And it's a pain IMO )

Davids right about the mapping, also check the bitmap scale. the bitmap looks too large for the model and needs to be tiled ast a smaller size.

Just wanted to say thanks for the responses. I managed to fix the problem later on that afternoon and from what i can tell it was just a glitch with where the camera location / angle was. After i repositioned the camera everything went back to normal. I havent had a chance to finish it yet but when i do i'll post a pic.
