Hi,

I am new to this software. Does anyone know any websites that offer free tutorials?

have you watched the demos on the autodesk website?

No. I will have a look thanks.

I am most interested in cross referencing components and also automatic wire & terminal numbering.

there should be tutorials within the program.... try going to Help > New Features Workshop and see what that pulls up.

have you used an electrical package before?

there's eplan and promise-e that you may be able to find more info on, and I can't imagine they function that differently (well not in the background anyway)

I think promise-e is the one that looks like autocad

does the autocad one turn your drawings into annoying ladders with columnated drawings or does it enable you to do your drawings freestyle (more london underground map) as you always could?

Could anyone recommend a really good online course for AutoCAD Electrical 2007?

I looked at cadcourses.co.uk, could anyone advise me if they are any good? The course is £139 in total.

If anyone has any information regarding AutoCAD Electrical courses then that would be great - I guess this is not a very popular bit of software?
