Hi Everyone,
This is my first posting on this site. I came across this website today selling CAD software [Dodgy software site removed] The prices are unbelievable. I was wondering if anyone had bought from these guys or are they a scam?
Thanks,
Frank

Appearently from what I read. They have a server with the software on it and they sell you the right to use it. Sounded really strange to me.

Just in case anyone is wondering, I removed the link to the site since it is selling dodgy software and we don't want that sort of thing around for legal reasons

looks to be 'bogus' (ie. pirated versions) of, amongst others, autodesk products

Remember folks, only authorised AutoDesk resellers can sell full versions of AutoCAD and related products (ADT, MDT and so on). Now other retailers can sell AutoCAD LT (Amazon and such) but not full versions. So if you see full AutoCAD on a website for say under $3,500 you can be assured that it is pirated. Just a good rule of thumb ;)

It's the KGB trying to bring down western civilization as we know it. But not to worry, we're doing a fine enough job on that front without anyone's help. Thank you very much.
