Hi,

I'm having difficulty hatching various areas using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

There is already existing hatched areas on the drawing I am working on and I need to match this hatch, I have used the inherit properties however the command line says hatch size is too small - I have also physically typed in the scale that the existing hatch is set to, again no luck - as it is I just tried to get the scale as close as possible however the difference really sticks out like a sore thumb.

Any suggestions or assistance on this would be appreciated.

Cheers

this could depend upon which .pat was used to generate the hatch(es) initially.
i have read somewhere that acad.pat and acadiso.pat produce the same hatches but at different scales.
i think therein lies the problem.

I would also check the variable _MEASUREMENT. Set to 0 (imperial) or 1 (metric) influences the way hatches are created
