OK, using acad 2007. I have an existing drawing with 1 layout tab that has a pretty standard title block and drawing, etc. being about 9 years old, the template over time has changed, quite a bit really. So instead of printing the old drawing and just starting again, i've been adding a new drawing from the new template and filling in the blanks. All pretty standard stuff, except that the layers are not updating to the new templates layers. I have the new template but not all the layers. Even if i go into the template file and write text in the model space using every layer, they still do not update and i have to to recreate them in the layer manager. Can anyone explain why is this so?
