I appreciate any help that any of you could spare! I have a user that has AutoCAD 2004. This user embedded a 2004 DWG file into Excel, and then E-mailed it to another user that has AutoCAD 2007. The recipient has a problem when he tries to open the embedded DWG from within the Excel document. It must be because he has ver. 2007, but what is the solution? He receives the following errors:
"Cannot start the source application for this object"
and
"Microsoft Office Excel is waiting for another application to complete an OLE action."
Now, another user that has AutoCAD 2005 has no problem opening the embedded DWG that's within the Excel document - it just seems like ver. 2007 and up gives these errors.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
