pointer input

I am trying to make my pointer input show up and it will not. I set my "DYN" is on and my "DYNMODE" is set to 3. Under settings ("Dynamic Input") I have everything checked, but also tried it uncheck. What am I doing wrong?

I do not like the command line input there either. I am looking for pointer input and dimension input.
